Hospital School
There is a school situated in the National Children’s Hospital at Tallaght University Hospital. It is open Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 3:10pm during term time. A primary school teacher teaches in this school. The school has lots of interesting things to do. Regular workshops and visits from musicians, artists and others assist in making the school day an interesting and happy one. If you are able to go to school you will get to take part in these and meet other children who are also getting treatment in the hospital. The schoolroom has lots of resources available including a range of text and library books, computers with interactive whiteboard and art materials, all to help your learning and enjoyment during your time in hospital.
