Mr. Murphy is an intercollegiate certified neurosurgeon, who has trained both in Ireland and in the United States. He treats degenerative spinal conditions, frequently reviewing and operating on patients with symptomatic lumbar disc herniations, cervical disc protrusions, cervical stenosis, and lumbar spondylolisthesis and stenosis.
He sees patients in both Tallaght University Hospital and Naas General Hospital, and operates on them in Tallaght University Hospital. He also sees patients with osteoporotic vertebral body compression fractures, and performs percutaneous vertebral body cement augmentation to relieve pain.
