Subpeciality InterestClinical interests include glomerulonephritis, maternal medicine, renal home therapies, non-dialysis management of chronic kidney disease and acute kidney injury. She also has an interest in medical education and held the post of National specialty Director for nephrology in RCPI for over six years and subsequently became involved in the Annual Verification Process for Continuous Professional Development at RCPI. Nonclinical interests include improving patient outcomes through various quality improvement initiatives, medication safety including drug reconciliation at transitions of care, supporting the implementation of strategies to improve communication including in the area of positive patient identification and project codesign with patients and families. |
