Achievements Clinical Associate professor in Stroke Medicine at Trinity College Dublin & Honorary Research Fellow at NUI Maynooth Member of the Irish Society of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine, British Association of Stroke Physicians, National Cardiovascular Strategy Working Group, Irish Heart Foundation council on Stroke National co-ordinator on a number of international research projects including ENOS, TICH-2, GLORIA-AF National Healthcare Innovation Award for Dublin Mid Leinster Acute Stroke Telemedicine network Co-Founder of REMPAD project – EI Med in Ireland and DCU commercialisation awards 2013 His special clinical and research interests include stroke, atrial fibrillation , dementia, public awareness of risk factors for stroke and telemedicine
