Prof. Sinéad Murphy is a Consultant Neurologist at TUH. Her subspecialty interests include peripheral nerve disorders, in particular the inherited neuropathies, other neuromuscular disorders, ataxias and stroke. She runs dedicated Peripheral Nerve and Neuromuscular Clinics as well as general neurology clinics and co-directs the National Ataxia Clinic.
Prof. Murphy is involved in a wide range of international, national and local research and her work on inherited neuropathies in particular has been widely published.
