Healthlink provide a web-based messaging service which allows the secure transfer of patient information over the internet into the GP system.
The Central Referrals Office (CRO) in Tallaght University Hospital (TUH) can only accept outpatent referrals from GPs via Healthlink. If you send a referral to the CRO in TUH via post or email, the referral will be returned to you and you will be advised to create the OPD referral via Healthlink.
Healthlink Online is free to GPs and full set-up and training on the use of the system is provided. If your practice does not have access to Healthlink you can register for a Healthlink account via the www.Healthlink.ie website.
Once Healthlink receives your application form, you will be set up on the system, by the Healthlink team, within two weeks.
Healthlink is provided by the Health Service Executive (HSE). This is a HSE system, TUH is unable to provide technical support if you are experiencing difficulties with Healthlink.
